So much has happened this year that I have to be thankful for. It's strange, when you think about it, that we spend only one day to reflect upon all the blessings and fortunate things we have acquired throughout the year. I feel so priveleged to be living in a city I love, to be connected to so many wonderful people, and to be doing the things I love most for a living.
Though I was not able to be home for Thanksgiving this year, I had an enjoyable day relaxing, cooking, and forgetting about all the stresses that will surly overwhelm me tomorrow. Yesterday I enjoyed a day off and went to the Met (more on that tomorrow). Today, though, I made it a point of reveling in all that is good. I was especially thankful that my Tofurky turned out so well:
I'm thankful for perspective that accompanies reflection, and I guess that's what Thanksgiving comes down to: a renewed perspective on all that is good in one's life. And I have so much to be thankful for.
